Spring 2008
Hi there, so I have been hearing that you have been looking at my webiste, and I like that very much. I am always looking for something to inspire me, so what is presented here to you is the work that has been distilled from that search. If you look at Design is Hell map, you will see what I am talking about. Also design is hell, in the way that not being in love is hell. But once you start falling in love with design, it's not hell, it's pure bliss, if it was able to be packaged into a pill form, Pfizer would be plunged into a bankruptcy! Now what about the love?

Summer 2007
So I have been at CalArts for two years going on forever, and I am supposed to be ready to prepare a thesis about Graphic Design. I have to say I am most definitely not ready, and actually what I want to do is to do it all over again, but that would definitely get me in deeper in more ways than one. I guess at the same time I have never been more ready than now. I remember the first time we met for a desk crit you told about a drama teacher at Yale that was teaching students to say the same thing in different voices, now I have read Queneau, and talked with Ed Fella about it, and made a project in Typographics with Jon Sueda, and I feel now that I understand what you meant.
So I have had the past five weeks using form to think, and actually it was a brick wall that I have been trying to avoid, I have wanted more than anything to separate form from thinking, and thinking from form. I like provocation, and i recoil from critical discourse because I think it's mean. I have never felt more paralysed and helpless than today, because at least before I didn't care what anyone thought, and I didn't care to communicate with anyone. But now I do, now I want to say it in design.

I feel like brit would if she could.
